Barlick Bioscapes

Barlick Bioscapes is a community-led initiative that aims to enhance biodiversity across Barnoldswick by creating, restoring and connecting wildlife-friendly habitats. Working with residents, schools, local businesses and community organisations, the project encourages nature recovery through wildflower planting, pollinator-friendly spaces, tree planting and improved management of parks and green spaces. The initiative promotes sustainable gardening and environmental awareness, helping people to appreciate the value of local wildlife while improving the town’s appearance.
