NOTICE OF VACANCY ON TOWN COUNCIL
Barnoldswick Town Council is inviting applications from local electors to fill a vacancy as a co-opted member of the Town Council.
Selection will be made by the Council following receipt of applications at the next Council meeting on the 14th May 2025. No party affiliation is required and there will be no formal election.
If you are interested in becoming a co-opted local councillor, all that is required is an application addressed to The Town Clerk, Barnoldswick Town Council, The Civic Hall, Station Road, Barnoldswick, BB18 5NA. This letter should arrive no later than 3rd May 2025 and should include the following information:-
Name, address, email address and contact telephone number
Relevant experience, skills and interests which could be helpful to the Council , reasons for wanting to serve as a member of Barnoldswick Town Council. This is an unpaid role.
Upon receipt of your letter of application, you will receive further information about the appointment including a “Job Description”. Should you have any questions or require additional information the please contact the Town Clerk.
