How you can prepare for a power cut
- Ensure you have a fully charged mobile phone, with a power bank available, if possible.
- Keep a torch, batteries, warm clothing, and blankets to hand.
- Follow up-to-date information on the weather on the Met Office website at www.metoffice.gov.uk
- If you have medical equipment that uses electricity, make sure you have a plan in place in case the power goes off. Speak to your medical provider for advice on what to do.
